About California Portuguese-American Coalition

The California Portuguese American Coalition (CPAC) was officially launched on March 4, 2016. CPAC was founded by a group of Portuguese-American community leaders who saw a need to increase the political advocacy and involvement of the Portuguese-American community in California. As a tax exempt non-profit organization, CPAC is governed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by partners in the Portuguese-American community.

​CPAC was formed to unite Portuguese-American elected officials and civic leaders in California, allowing for stronger collaboration in advancing the interests of their respective communities. CPAC aims to encourage Portuguese-Americans to serve their communities, and provide opportunities for greater advocacy on issues specific to the Portuguese-American community in California.
